Enrolments

If you are intending to send your child to Puni School please contact the school with your child’s date of birth and contact details as soon as possible, to help us in our forward planning. We can answer any questions you may have and advise when the school visits will take place.

We will then give you an enrolment pack which includes the following:

  • Enrolment Form
  • Immunisation Certificate (to be completed by the Doctor’s nurse)
  • Health Information Form
  • Dental Form (if not already enrolled)
  • Uniform Order Form
  • Information Booklet (also available on our website under the Information Booklet tab)
  • Consent and Information Form

The Ministry of Education requires that we hold a copy of every child’s birth certificate or passport BEFORE they can start school. Please bring an original with you and we will photocopy it for our records. If you have your Plunket Book fully up to date with immunisations, please also bring that with you.

Out of zone Enrolments for 2022

The board invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Puni School for the 2022 academic year.  Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office or at www.puni.school.nz

Application forms for out of zone places (which are available on the website or from the office via email) must be received by Wednesday 29 September 2021.  Applications can be emailed to admin@puni.school.nz.

The board has determined that fifteen (15) places are likely to be available for out of zone students across years 0-6. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.

If a ballot is necessary this will take place on Tuesday 5 October 2021 and all applicants will be notified in writing by Wednesday 20 October 2021.
