If you live out of our school zone please see the information at the bottom of the page regarding our ballot and the form to complete (please do not use the On-line enrolment form button for this process).
If you are intending to send your child to Puni School please contact the school with your child’s date of birth and contact details as soon as possible, to help us in our forward planning. We can answer any questions you may have and advise when the school visits will take place.
If you are living within our current School Zone or have a sibling of a current student you wish to enrol who is turning 5 in the next 6 months, please click on the button below to complete our online enrolment form.
As part of the enrolment process you will be asked to upload your child’s birth certificate/passport, immunisation records, proof of address. If your child is born overseas we also require a copy of their Visa to confirm eligibility.
You can upload these as part of the online enrolment process. If you are unable to upload these documents, you will need to bring them into the office before we are able to accept the enrolment.

A ballot is generally held in September each year for the following year.
The ballot for the 2027 School year is now open. We have 20 spaces available for Years 0-4.
The board invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Puni School for the 2027 academic year. Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office or at www.puni.school.nz
Application forms for out of zone places (which are available on the website or from the office via email) must be received by Monday 21 September 2026. Applications can be emailed to admin@puni.school.nz.
The board has determined that twenty (20) places are likely to be available for out of zone students across years 0-4, The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.
If a ballot is necessary this will take place on Thursday 24 September 2026 and all applicants will be notified in writing by Monday 12 October 2026.
